Am planning a visit to Berlin, Germany, and cannot wait to see Leif Andsnes at the Berlin Philharmoniker where he is currently Pianist in Residence. Read more on Leif Andsnes HERE
Enjoy - am off to practice on my piano - like art and poetry - classical music is an expression of sentiment - be it anguish, torment, joy or love. I do believe music is the highest form of art! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Norwegian composer, Edward Grieg - read more about him HERE

Vintage Bag Of Choice
Image : 1940s alligator bag. Designer : Mark Cross.
I definitely have a fondness for vintage and antique bags. They represent an important part of fashion history and there's nothing better than learning from history. My wardrobe was asking for something functional and fabulous so I purchased the bag pictured above during my lunch hour today;-)

Music : Soprano, Danielle de Niese

Frankfurt, Germany, 2010
In January I had the opportunity to hear Soprano Danielle de Niese.
She has such a refined, gentle, prepossessing aura, and a gifted voice that reaches up to the heavens; strong, fragile, girlish and bursting with temperament.
