Enjoy!
What is the worst/best thing that happened to you on tour?
The worst thing has been our van breaking down on the way back from
Glastonbury, it was wet, cold and we hadn't slept. It took ages until we
were rescued from under a bridge. The best was playing in an abandoned zoo
in the sunshine of Ibiza with Dirty Pretty Things or playing three nights
at the Roundhouse in London with the Manic Street Preachers.
What's constantly playing on you "tour-bus"?
A Swedish band called The Radio Dept are a firm favourite, they released
their third album this year and it's perfect dream/fuzz pop.
How do you kill time on tour?
Everything from gameboys to under-the-table football! We watch a lot of
films while driving, chat, drink and listen to i-pods. We need some German
films for this tour... perhaps we will have to by Run Lola Run!
What is your favorite piece of cloth on stage?
It depends on who you ask really, Martin is fond of his big jumpers at the
moment, Ben's into shirts, I'm fond of wearing a headband and Gemma
favours denim shorts.
How are you acting on stage?
We put on a very energetic show! Lots of sweating, swapping of
instruments, jumping around, it's a bit of a party up there to be honest.
What are you doing when you're not on tour? Do you have "real" jobs?
We currently don't work 'real jobs' we all help to run our record label
'Heist Or Hit Records', that takes up a good chunk of our time. This year
we have written and recorded our new album 'Lifeline' (produced by our
singer Martin) so it'll be great to finally get on the road again, let off
steam and play our new songs to people.
