Rodarte

This time around I'm focusing on things that primarily reminded me of history and fantasy and intricately beautiful fairy tales. Herchcovitch's collection was filled with whimsical traditional costuming that leads me to think of fantasy and fairy tales of many possible pasts. Rag & Bone layered seemingly thick pieces expertly. The Row offered masses of fabrics that looked like some form of urban traditional pieces. Rodarte's new collection offers something new with light pieces and various different fabrics that are, nonetheless, noticeably Rodarte. Marchesa furthered a historical fantasy element with shoulders and stunning dress pieces intricately designed.
